First Church of Christ, Scientist has been serving the spiritual needs of Missoula for over 100 years. Our Church is a Christian denomination, with the Bible and especially Jesus' teachings at the heart and soul of its practice. In Christian Science, the power of prayer lies not in faith alone but in a deeper understanding of God's divine laws that embrace humanity. All are welcome to attend our services and visit our Reading Room.
OUR PASTOR
The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the foundation of the theology and practice of Christian Science. For Mary Baker Eddy, Christian Science flowed out of an inspired understanding of the Bible, which illumined the divine laws behind spiritual healing. Both the Bible and textbook Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy serve as our Pastor. Together, these two books are a mentor, spiritual resource, and timeless guide open to all.
